Our own Satellite links can be Permanent, Part Time (ie; Fire Season, Cyclone Season), Casual (by the month) or we can provide Rapid Upgrades.
Most of our equipment is passed for export into any country our satellite service has coverage, however, some countries in our service area prohibit this form of communications.
We strictly abide by Commonwealth of Australia Trade Laws, USA Technology Export Laws and UN Security Council Sanctions and Resolutions.
The Manager and half owner of ROAM QLD is based in the Whitsundays and has been deploying innovative broadband and VoIP solutions around Australia since 1997.
For the 10 years prior, he engineered electronic communications, security and camera solutions for the Military, Federal and Foreign Police and Governments,
and Australian Federal Judicial systems.
Our other half owner is fellow Rural and Regional services provider and wireless and satellite broadband innovator, ScoastNet.
We are 100% Australian owned, providing Rural courtesy, Regional focus, City service, and Intelligent solutions, with military timing and diplomatic attention, anywhere in Australia.
In case of disasters, we always have at least one manual aligning trailer fitted out with Wireless Broadband and 2 Phone lines, on standby in Nth QLD for temporary community communications:
