Our own Satellite links can be Permanent, Part Time (ie; Fire Season, Cyclone Season), Casual (by the month) or we can provide Rapid Upgrades.

All our equipment* is passed for export into any country our satellite service has coverage, however, some countries in our service area prohibit this form of communications.

We strictly abide by Commonwealth of Australia Trade Laws, USA Technology Export Laws and UN Security Council Sanctions and Resolutions.

The Manager and half owner of ROAM QLD is based in the Whitsundays and has been deploying innovative broadband and VoIP solutions around Australia since 1997.

For the 10 years prior, he engineered electronic communications, security and camera solutions for the Military, Federal and Foreign Police and Governments,
and Australian Federal Judicial systems.

Our other half owner is fellow Rural and Regional services provider and wireless and satellite broadband innovator, ScoastNet.

We are 100% Australian owned, providing Rural courtesy, Regional focus, City service, and Intelligent solutions, with military timing and diplomatic attention, anywhere in Australia.

TYPES

Portable

Broadband and VoIP when stationary. Available in 85cm, 120cm and 180cm.

Auto Aligning,
Motorized Manual Aligning,
Manual Aligning.

Can be fitted to a Vehicle Roof, Trailer, Caravan, POD, Container, Tripod or almost any form, depending on your requirements.

Mobile

Works while you are mobile as well as stationary. Can be permanently fixed to the roof, or mounted on roof racks to share around the fleet, or leave at a base or camp. Very low profile so can be fitted to maximum height vehicles.

Perfect for long haul Coaches or large Ferries that want to provide broadband internet and Satellite TV while while on the move, up to 500km/h. We can also supply a 'pay by credit card' wireless hotspot, or live webcams on to this system as well.

60cm model : ACT, TAS, VIC, East NSW, East QLD, SE SA, SW WA, NW NT, All East and South Asia - Medium cars and larger.

USA laws prohibit us exporting this device to some countries we service.

Heavy Duty Trailer

Heavy Duty Versions - min 6ft x 4ft

Rugged construction with optional modified suspension for 40mm higher clearance. Zinc or Partial or Full Chequer Plate. Can be rated up to 1200kg. This style trailer is what we marry with the Mini Container unit.

Suitable for Construction, Infrastructure Projects, OnSite Heavy Maintenance & Repair, State and Federal Government services.

Raw Terrain Trailer plus POD

Built to extra heavy duty Military specifications.

Rugged construction with optional modified suspension for 40mm higher clearance. Full Chequer Plate. Can be rated up to 1200kg. This style trailer is what we marry with the Mini Container unit.

Suitable for Defence Services, Emergency Services, Critical Infratructure Providers, Post Disaster Services, Mining, Exploration.

For rapid deployment by C130 (RAAF/UN), 737 (Federal Government/Virgin Group) and Airbus (Qantas/Jetstar) to anywhere in Australiasia, Central, East and South Asia.

Our Smallest motorized 1.2m dish version that is self contained with GenSet and Batteries.

Built to Australian Pallet specifications (1170mm x 1170mm) for quick and efficient transportation by road or water.

Road Case

Our most compact unit yet. A complete economical 2way wireless broadband and 2 x voip/phone lines solution to fit into a Roadcase and Backpack (Dish and Tripod) that can be carried by 1 person.

Satellite dish and tripod are carried in a backpack style satchel. Suitable for use with the Manual Aligning 85cm Dish.

The 85cm Dish with the RoadCase will enable high speed broadband and 2 phone lines from anywhere in South, Central and East Asia, Indonesia, NZ, ACT, TAS, VIC, East QLD and East NSW, SW WA and NW NT. It will work all over South and East Asia.

Full size back door swings up on struts to provide shade. Used in conjunction with the swing out tailgate on the trailer, which has a fold up workbench on the inside of the tailgate.

TRAILERS

Equipment can be mounted vertically on a small wall or rack, exposed to the Workspace or behind the wall, or horizontally underneath the Workspace, on the Floor, or from the Roof, or Built in cabinets on the trailer body.

Heavy duty models have the shelf mounted on rubber blocks before they are then mounted on to the trailer.

Power in to the trailer can come from up to 2 vehicles, GenSets, Batteries (charged by Solar or Wind), or multiple 240vac, or all combined.]

A mini-UPS / Filter / Regulator is fitted to all our Portable Satellite Internet and Phone Ground Stations, to protect your and our equipment from power surges and spikes, and up to 9mins back up power for when changing over power sources, or refueling the Gensets.

A 1000W @ 240vac Honda GenSet will adequately run a basic trailer with satellite, wireless, voip, webcam and 1 laptop.

A 3000W @ 240vac GenSet is required to additionly power a camp fridge and microwave oven, or another laptop.

Laptops require between 400-600W.
