There are 2 'Shaped Beams' that cover Australia and South East Asia.Access to the 'Shaped Beam' is by a 120cm dish, and access is available anywhere on Mainland Australia without needing to reconfigure your service.

This is the same for the South East Asia 'Shaped Beam'.

Spot Beams

The StealthRay and 85cm Dish have coverage in the areas within the circles.For such small dishes to gain access to the satellite, it must access the 'Spot Beams' from the IPStar satellite.Spot beams cover areas around 500km in diameter.

The individual beams covering Australasia are the circles coloured grey.Technical (online) modifications to your system are required every time you change beams.

Asia

Shaped Beam (120cm dish) coverage is in blue, and 85cm dish coverage is available in the area coloured in gold.Almost all of Central, East and South Asia are accessible through our service with IPStar:
